Cailie MacLeod is a Canadian soprano with a deep love for music and a passion for helping others discover their own unique voices. Originally from Georgetown, Ontario, she holds a Bachelor of Music from Wilfrid Laurier University, where she trained with James McLean, and is currently completing her Master of Music at the University of Ottawa under the guidance of Christiane Riel.

With an extensive performance background, Cailie has brought a variety of operatic roles to life, including Zweite Dame in Die Zauberflöte, Amy in Little Women, and Elise in Louise. She has also performed as a soloist at Toronto’s Donway Covenant United Church and recently appeared as the Messaggiera in The Orpheus Project. Up next, she will be stepping into exciting new roles as the Prince in Cendrillon and the Father in Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.

Cailie also enjoys pop music, having listened to Kelly Clarkson, Adele, and Lady Gaga from a young age. She also explored the jazz and blues genres, and was influenced by Ella Fitzgerald and Aretha Franklin with their powerful vocals. Recently, Cailie has enjoyed listening and singing along to Chappell Roan’s music, finding her strong voice and dynamic stage presence inspiring.

Beyond the stage, Cailie’s artistic spirit shines in everything she does. Whether she’s painting, baking, or designing props for productions, she finds creative ways to bring stories to life—something she also encourages in her students!

As a teacher, Cailie understands that every student learns differently. She takes a personalized, supportive approach to lessons, helping students feel confident and excited about their progress. Whether you're looking to improve your vocal technique, prepare for performances, or just sing for fun, Cailie is dedicated to making your musical journey enjoyable and rewarding. She truly believes that music lives inside everyone—it just takes a little time, guidance, and passion to help it flourish!
