Meet Sharlee, a remarkably talented singer-songwriter hailing from Charlottetown, P.E.I., who currently resides in Orléans. Her musical journey is nothing short of diverse, as her style effortlessly encompasses indie pop, country, rock, and musical theatre.

Sharlee's passion for music ignited during her high school years, where she actively participated in various singing competitions and graduated with a Specialized High School Major in Musical Theatre Performance. It was at the age of 16 that she took her first steps into the professional singing world, starting with country music before venturing into a myriad of styles, including R&B, jazz, pop, rock, funk, and more.

Drawing inspiration from influential artists like Amy Winehouse, Norah Jones, Feist, Paramore, Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, and Beyoncé, Sharlee crafted her own unique sound. Her music reflects the culmination of her varied influences, resulting in a mesmerizing blend that captivates listeners.

Throughout her career, Sharlee has been actively involved in multiple bands, collaborating with accomplished musicians across Canada. In particular, she fronted four professional bands, with one exclusively dedicated to showcasing her original music. Her debut EP, titled "Uneasy," has been released on major streaming platforms, allowing audiences to experience her extraordinary musical prowess.

As she embraces her solo career, Sharlee has rebranded herself as simply "Sharlee" (formerly known as "Raye" on Apple Music). Simultaneously, she has taken on the role of a vocal coach at Sing House Studios, where she shares her expertise and passion for music with aspiring musicians. Her teaching style revolves around personal experiences, encouraging her students to listen to their bodies and gain the confidence to explore new vocal techniques.

In her journey as a musician, Sharlee has achieved remarkable milestones, releasing two singles and an EP within a year. Additionally, she has been booked for prestigious events such as Super Summer Fest at Cafe Dekcuf, where she will enchant the audience with her original compositions. Notably, she has also performed at Bluesfest for the event "She's the One."
