Maggie is a recent graduate from Carleton University where she obtained her Bachelor of Music, specializing in Musical Theatre Voice, and a minor in Psychology. During her time at Carleton she was involved in the University Choir as well as the musical theatre ensemble, lyric theatre ensemble, and opera ensemble. While there Maggie had the pleasure of working with soprano Heidi Melton who led the Opera ensemble in 2019 while being the artist in residence for Carleton’s music department that year. She also had the opportunity to perform as a guest
vocalist with the Maple Leaf Brass Band here in Ottawa in 2019 for their ‘An Evening with Oscar and Tony’ concert, featuring music from the stage and screen.

A lover of musical theatre, Maggie started performing in community theatre productions in her home town of North Bay at the age of 7 and hasn’t stopped since. Some of her favourite productions she’s been involved in so far include OLIVER! (Artful Dodger), West Side Story (Maria), Catch me if You Can, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown (Linus), and most recently Into The Woods (Bakers Wife) with CMTS. Throughout high school she also competed in the Kiwanis Music Festival and Sears Drama Festival.

Maggie has recently worked as the vocal director for Dreamcoat Fantasy Theatres production of Disneys Descendants the Musical which involved ~80 kids from Gr. 3 to Gr. 8. Before that she had also worked with Dreamcoat Fantasy Theatre as the Co-Director (2016-2018) and then Director (2019) of their summer theatre camp workshops. She also recently provided the Vocal Direction for CMTS’s production of Into the Woods.
She is excited to join the Sing House Team and hopes to help encourage and inspire others' love for music!

Her favourite pop artists include Harry Styles, The Lumineers, and Billie Eilish. Outside of singing she enjoys working on visual art projects, working on a good puzzle, and tending to her house plants to keep them happy and thriving.
