Chantal Hackett is the creative force behind Sing House Studios. She came up with the concept back in 2005 while teaching in her mothers livingroom, with only a small number of students.
Word spread quickly about Chantal’s voice lessons, and soon she opened her very own studio in the heart of Orléans, home of hundreds of music and voice students, otherwise known as #singingaddicts.
Chantal loved to sing, but struggled to find a community that she belonged to in the music scene - so she created her own! She came to the realization that many other individuals felt the way she did, and needed a safe space to express their passion for music.
Sing House’s mission is all about being innovative and learning by doing, all the while building confidence and having fun!
Chantal credits her experiences with music for the person she is today. All of us go through challenging times, and her goal is to use music to teach the tools necessary to help students overcome obstacles and succeed in life. Chantal certainly did!
Chantal has put in countless hours performing in her community and outside of Ottawa.

In 2020, Erica Brighthill joined Sing House Studios as Master Vocal Coach and Manager, and since then, she has been a vital force in strengthening the vision and mission of our studio. Together, Chantal and Erica have worked tirelessly to build a space where creativity and passion can flourish. Erica plays a key role in ensuring that the values we hold dear—community, growth, and excellence—are seamlessly woven into every aspect of our studio. From our dynamic shows to the comprehensive courses we offer, the personalized coaching we provide, and the innovative programs and services we deliver, Erica’s influence is felt in everything we do. Our commitment remains unwavering: to create an environment where our students thrive, our coaches excel, and our community continues to grow and shine.
