A classically trained pianist turned indie singer-songwriter, Helena pairs 15 years of piano mastery with real stage, studio, and composition experience. Whether you're a young beginner discovering your first keys or an adult artist refining your vocal range and performance, Helena delivers a rare, full-spectrum musical education tailored to your goals.

How Helena Coaches
Helena's path started at open mics, singing and playing piano before evolving into full-band gigs, studio recording, and releasing original music — two self-written, arranged, and studio-recorded singles streaming globally. She's opened for Wales' Llareggub Brass Band at the Rainbow Bistro, taken the stage at The Shed on Sparks Street for the Ottawa Music Industry Coalition, and been a featured soloist at Nostalgica Pub and Lowertown venues, where she also hosts community musician showcase nights.
That real-world stage and studio experience sits on top of a serious technical foundation — 15 years of piano training through the Royal Conservatory of Music, plus two years of acoustic and electric guitar. It's the kind of background that lets her teach a student's very first lesson and their audition prep with equal confidence.
She believes every student learns differently and tailors her approach to what makes each individual click. Whether the goal is reading sheet music, passing Royal Conservatory of Music exams, learning contemporary pop, or writing and recording original songs, Helena builds a roadmap around it.
Currently completing her third year in Translational and Molecular Medicine at the University of Ottawa, Helena brings the same analytical precision and curiosity from her scientific research into her coaching — breaking down complex vocal and keyboard mechanics into intuitive, easy-to-grasp concepts.

Drawing on high-energy influences like Gwen Stefani of No Doubt, Helena teaches students how to command a stage and connect with an audience without fear — while helping them study the vocal production and arrangement choices of artists they already love, like Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, and Sombr.
