Erica Brighthill

Studio Operations Manager | Master Vocal Coach | Singer-Songwriter

"Empowering the next generation to find their voice, one heartfelt note at a time."

Erica Brighthill’s journey with Sing House Studios (SHS) is a true testament to the power of passion and perseverance. What began over eight years ago as a vocal student stepping into the studio has evolved into a cornerstone of the SHS leadership team.

Erica’s evolution from student to volunteer, and eventually to Master Vocal Coach and Studio Operations Manager, was fueled by an innate desire to nurture talent. Today, Founder Chantal Hackett and Erica form a "dream team" of leadership, working in inseparable tandem to guide the studio’s growth, innovation, and the high-energy SHS Troop Program. As a graduate of the University of Ottawa with a degree in Education, Erica seamlessly blends her pedagogical expertise with her musical intuition, bringing a contagious smile and expert guidance to every student she mentors.

Beyond the studio walls, Erica is an accomplished, bilingual country singer-songwriter hailing from Orléans, Ontario. Her artistry is defined by empowering lyrics and a captivating stage presence that has earned her a place among the region's elite performers.

Her resume reflects a deep commitment to the Canadian music scene. She has had the honor of sharing the spotlight with multiple Juno and CCMA award winners, including Dallas SmithThe River Town Saints, and France D’Amour. From the massive stages of RBC Bluesfest and The Patch at the World Men's Curling Championship to the prestigious Diamonds in the Rough showcase during CCMA week, Erica’s voice has resonated across Ontario and Québec.

Erica’s impact on country music has been recognized through several notable accolades:

  • Multi-year nominee for Country Artist of the Year, Artist of the Year, and Song of the Year at the Ottawa Faces Awards.

  • Top 6 Finalist for Best Country Music Video at the Canadian Independent Music Awards for the hit, "Girls Don’t Need A Guy to Dance," which has amassed over 300,000 views to date.

  • Elite Collaborations: Guided by industry mentors like Debbie Zavitson (former manager of Blake Shelton) and Tara Shannon, Erica continues to collaborate with world-class musicians and award-winning producers.

Erica's discography continues to grow with empowering anthems that celebrate confidence and life's joys, including both English and French releases. Whether she is coordinating a large-scale event for the SHS Troop, coaching a shy beginner to find their confidence, or headlining a festival stage, her mission remains the same: to inspire young women worldwide to lead with authenticity. At Sing House Studios, Erica isn't just managing a business; she is cultivating a community where every artist feels seen, heard, and empowered to shine.
