How Gabrielle Coaches

Gabrielle brings the stage straight into the studio. As Band Director and a guitarist who's played solos for crowds of 500+, she knows exactly what it takes to captivate an audience — experience that carries into musical theatre credits like Shrek and Carrie. That real performance mileage shapes how she coaches: every lesson is built to grow genuine confidence, not just technique.

Trained through the Regional Arts and Media Program and a Royal Conservatory of Music graduate, Gabrielle teaches the why behind the music — proper breathing mechanics, precise vowel placement, ear training, and music theory explained in a way that feels natural rather than academic.

Lessons are built around the music each student already loves, drawing on artists like Hayley Williams, Olivia Rodrigo, Phoebe Bridgers, Lizzy McAlpine, and Björk to teach core mechanics through songs students are genuinely excited to sing.

Currently pursuing her degree at the University of Ottawa, where she also serves as Director of Internal Affairs for the uOttawa Theatre Club, Gabrielle brings years of classroom and individual teaching experience, clear communication, and a warm, bilingual environment where students of all ages feel safe taking creative risks.
